内容記述 | Dodecylbenzenesulfonate ion (DBS<SUP>-</SUP>) forms an ion-pair with tetradecyldimethylbenzylammonium cation (zephiramine, Z<SUP>+</SUP>), which is extractable into organic solvents. Naphthalene is dissolved into the hot nitrobenzene extract of the Z<SUP>+</SUP>-DBS<SUP>-</SUP> ion-pair, which solidifies at room temperature.
