There is a research case with the management support system that uses the mobile phone with GPS. However, the accuracy of the location information is low, and it is unsuitable to the administrative task of the road facilities. This research proposes the road facilities management support system that can uniformly manage the check history by individually managing the road facilities by using RFID and GIS. The design goal of the proposed support system is to enable efficient inspections and repair instruction of road facilities, and is comprised of: 1) road facilities enabled with RFID tags, 2) mabile phones with built-in RFID readers. 3) cooperation server to integrate RFID with GIS, and 4) Integrated GIS. The field experiment system is based on the proposed system architecture. Field experimentation of this system was conducted with the Morioka City Office.
